Our 3-Day Family Getaway to Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa

If you're looking for a family-friendly escape that combines luxury, location, and laid-back vibes, I can't recommend the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa enough. We recently spent three unforgettable days there, and it was the perfect mix of fun, relaxation, and quality family time.

Day 1: Arrival & Ocean Views

We checked into a stunning two-bedroom condo that comfortably fit all of us — two adults, a 6-year-old, my aunt, and my cousin (who’s local to West Palm Beach). The space was incredible — full kitchen (stovetop, no oven), full-sized fridge, utensils, dishes, dishwasher, and even a washer and dryer (a total win when traveling with kids!).

Each bedroom had a private bathroom, massive closet, and huge TV. The living area was open and bright, with a large L-shaped balcony offering jaw-dropping views of both the ocean and city skyline. It was the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail, catch a sunrise or sunset, and people-watch from above.

A special shoutout to the concierge who helped me coordinate a little surprise for my aunt’s birthday — fresh fruit, cheese, crackers, champagne, and a handwritten card awaited her upon arrival. So thoughtful!

Day 2: Turtles, Tiki Bars & Fine Dining

We kicked off our morning at the local gem, Jupiter Donuts — a must-stop for bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and donuts in every flavor imaginable. It’s where the locals go, so expect a bit of a wait... but it’s absolutely worth it.

Next up: a private tour at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center. This place blew us away. We learned all about the local sea turtle population — their nesting habits, hatching seasons, and the amazing rehabilitation work the center does. My son especially loved the turtle tanks with windows at his eye level. Educational, inspiring, and fun for everyone from toddlers to grandparents.

Adults-only detour? If you have time, stop by the Square Grouper Tiki Bar. I visited on a previous trip and still dream about the Creamsicle cocktail and the laid-back beach bar vibes. Live music, happy locals, and great drinks — what more could you ask for?

That evening, we celebrated my aunt’s birthday in style at Buccan in downtown Palm Beach. I was a little intimidated at first (Palm Beach and all), but it turned out to be lively, welcoming, and surprisingly family-friendly. Highlights: the oysters, short rib empanadas, spicy pork tacos, and the unforgettable sweet corn agnolotti. My husband ordered the lobster spaghetti — and even I, not a seafood person, had to admit it was phenomenal. We wrapped up with bananas foster butter cake and espresso martinis. Absolute perfection.

Pro tip: Ask for Peter. He was kind, attentive, and even surprised my son with homemade lemonade, which he declared “the best ever!”

We ended the evening at Sailfish Marina, feeding the fish under glowing boat lights (we even spotted a shark!) and soaking up the peaceful marina vibes.

Day 3: Poolside Fun & Beachside Vibes

This day was all about the resort amenities. The lagoon area was a huge hit — our son couldn’t get enough of the waterslide and shallow water zones. There was a DJ playing great music, keeping the energy up for both kids and parents. Poolside service was top-notch (food was decent — more bar bites than gourmet, but it hit the spot!).

We enjoyed a cozy dinner in our condo, thanks to the full kitchen, and wound down with a little sunset watching and late-night TV.

Day 4: Saying Goodbye — but Not Without One Last Splash

Our last day began with a visit to Manatee Lagoon in West Palm Beach. We didn’t spot any manatees this time, but it’s still worth a visit — and it’s free! The interactive exhibits and gift shop were a fun way to wrap up our trip.

For our final dinner, we went to Two Drunken Goats — a lively beachside restaurant with great live music, tasty food, and amazing people-watching. A great way to end a perfect trip.

Final Thoughts

The Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa is a fantastic option for families looking for comfort, convenience, and a little luxury. The space, views, location, and resort features make it ideal for groups of all ages — and having your own washer/dryer? Game changer. We came home relaxed, refreshed, and even with clean clothes!
